Economic Justice Funding Programme – Design Partner

In March 2025, following extensive evidence gathering, analysis and consultation, City Bridge Foundation launched our new funding policy, Standing with Londoners 2025–2035, which will guide how and what we fund for the next ten years. 

The policy marks a critical step forward in City Bridge Foundation’s journey as a social justice funder, prioritising the empowerment of communities in the capital directly affected by inequality and focusing on tackling the systems at the root of the problem.

Social justice, field building and systems change are core components of our new approach. We are seeking consultancy support in these areas to help us develop and deliver our Economic Justice programme.

For City Bridge Foundation, Economic Justice refers to the fair and equitable distribution of resources, opportunities and economic benefits in society, ensuring that all Londoners – regardless of their background or circumstances – can thrive. This could include approaches to tackling poverty, and reducing income gaps and wealth inequalities. 

We anticipate the open programme is likely to prioritise support for community-led organisations rooted in communities experiencing high levels of economic injustice within London.
