Celebrating 2024 with City Bridge Foundation

A short video of some of the year’s highlights from City Bridge Foundation

As 2024 drew to a close, we shared this short video highlighting some of the year’s highlights from across City Bridge Foundation.

It’s been an incredible year and we are so grateful to our partners, funded organisations and colleagues. We are now looking to the future and our work in 2025.

We are hoping for another bumper year at the Tower Bridge visitor attraction. Having greeted more than 900,000 visitors in 2024, we might even be able to hit the one million mark in 2025, beating previous records.

We’ll also be continuing the management and maintenance of our four other bridges, London Bridge, Southwark Bridge, Millennium Bridge and Blackfriars road bridge. All of these provide a vital service to London, and like Tower Bridge, we supply that service at zero cost to the tax payer.

As the capital’s largest independent funder, 2025 will see us continuing to manage more than 1,000 active grants to London’s charitable sector. Our rolling grants programme closed to new applications in 2024, but we are hard at work developing a new 10-year funding policy. The first of our new grants programmes will open in the autumn, with more to follow.

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year and an even brighter 2025!
