Pre-application calls – guidance and good practice

Before requesting a pre-application call (or starting a funding application), we strongly advise you to:

Any questions you have will be answered by following the steps above. If we have to revisit information that is already available on the call, we will have less time to answer your specific queries.

If you are unable to attend your call after booking, please contact funding@citybridgefoundation.org.uk. If you wish to rebook your pre-application call, please start a new booking through our website.

We want your pre-application call to be as helpful as possible. In our experience, there are a few easy steps you can take to help you get the most out of your call, which we have outlined below.

Pre-application calls are scheduled for a 15-minute duration, starting at a set time selected by you. Please make every effort to be punctual, as being late will have a knock-on effect on other callers and our staff.

We will send you a reminder email 48 hours before your call, reminding you of your scheduled call time.

If you are no longer able to attend your scheduled call, please cancel it by contacting funding@citybridgefoundation.org.uk. To rebook your call, start a new booking through our website.

Take note of what you wish to ask to make the best use of your time. Please ensure you are in a quiet location and have a stable mobile signal (or a reliable internet connection) before your call begins.

Finally, please treat City Bridge Foundation staff with respect during your pre-application call.
