Funder Plus: free organisational support for funded organisations

Our programme of Funder Plus support for funded organisations is currently closed to new applications. During this closure, we will undertake a review of our Funder Plus offer to align it with our Standing with Londoners ten-year funding policy. 

An updated Funder Plus offer will be available later this year. Some targeted support may be available earlier for specific needs. 

All Funder Plus applications received before the programme closed will be assessed and, if eligible, supported as appropriate through the programme. 

Our free Funder Plus offer has been designed to enhance funded organisations’ capacity, resilience and longer-term sustainability, to achieve greater impact.

We work with a network of partners to help funded organisations address specific issues such as: organisational development, governance, fundraising, and business planning.

We also offer a programme of free learning and networking events for our funded organisations. These are advertised in our monthly newsletter, available at the bottom of this page. 

All support we offer is tailored to your organisation’s circumstances and needs.

These needs might include:

• organisational development
• governance
• fundraising
• business planning

We offer a range of support including:

• attendance of training courses and/​or conferences
• group learning via webinars and/​or peer networks for grantees experiencing shared issues
• signposting and referrals to trusted development and support services
• bespoke one-on-one consultancy on an agreed issue or clearly defined task

To be eligible your organisation must be in receipt of funding from City Bridge Foundation. This funding must have been awarded before October 2025. 

• applying: you’ll be asked to detail the work your organisation does and to outline the support you need in a simple online form. This form is currently closed while we undertake a review of our Funder Plus offer.
• assessment: if you’re eligible, a member of the programme team will assess your needs
• customisation: through a process of discussion and further diagnosis we’ll draw up a tailored support plan

To ensure your organisation benefits from the programme takes:

• commitment: you’ll need to set aside time to fully engage with both the on-boarding process and for the duration of the proposed support
• openness: the programme team may need additional information to make sure they fully understand your organisation’s position
• collaboration: including your colleagues, volunteers, users and/​or trustees invariably increases the impact and effectiveness of the support
