Cecilia Knapp is our first ever poet-in-residence, celebrating our five iconic bridges, our deep history, our role as a major funder, and the work of the many organisations we support
In June 2024, Cecilia Knapp was selected to be City Bridge Foundation’s first ever poet-in-residence.
Hackney-based Cecilia was selected from an impressive field of over 170 applicants, with the help of our partner The Poetry Society – the leading voice for UK poetry..
As well as writing new poetry, Cecilia also performs her work at events and contribute to poetry-themed community and educational activities.
