Pantoum for Community Gardens

Continuing City Bridge Foundation’s use of poetry to celebrate our five iconic bridges, our role as a major funder, and the work of the many organisations we support, our poet-in-residence Cecilia Knapp has produced a new poem, Pantoum for Community Gardens.

A pantoum is a poem of four-line stanzas, with repetition of certain lines. Working with Hackney HerbalThe Orchard Project and The Poetry Society, our new poem draws inspiration from the beauty of London’s community gardens and the dedication of the volunteers who care for them.
