About us

We are a unique, 900-year-old charity which owns and manages five Thames crossings – including the iconic Tower Bridge – at zero cost to the taxpayer. We also support London’s communities by awarding over £30 million a year to charities across the capital. We literally and metaphorically bridge London, connect its communities, and invest in its future.

City Bridge Foundation is made up of a diverse and talented team of staff, doing very different jobs, from a Welcome Host at Tower Bridge, to a Data Analyst in our Funding Team. Altogether, our team consists of around 140 staff.

We are united by our values and our vision for London. We share a passion for learning, a commitment to improving London for everyone, and a real pride in our work.

Our work encompasses all five bridges, including Tower Bridge, alongside a wide range of funding programmes. Many staff also support the work of City Bridge Foundation with roles in administration, communications, governance, finance, philanthropy, volunteering and more.
